ClassDojo is a secure, interactive communication platform that connects teachers, pupils, and parents, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting engagement in the classroom. At Badgerbrook Primary School, we use ClassDojo to enhance communication, support pupil behaviour and learning, and celebrate achievements.

How We Use ClassDojo at Badgerbrook Primary.

ClassDojo helps teachers, pupils, and parents stay connected and informed. Here are some of the ways we use it to support and enhance learning:

  • Positive Feedback and Recognition: Teachers award Dojo points to pupils to recognise and reinforce positive behaviours, achievements, and efforts in the classroom.
  • Home-School Communication: ClassDojo includes a messaging feature, allowing teachers and parents to communicate easily about pupil progress, upcoming events, or any classroom updates.
  • Classroom Updates and Announcements: Through the Class Story feature, teachers share photos, updates, and announcements from the classroom.
  • Homework and Reminders: Teachers may use ClassDojo to post homework, reminders, or upcoming events, making it easier for pupils and parents to stay organised.
  • Celebrating Achievements: Pupils feel motivated and encouraged when they see their efforts recognised in real-time. ClassDojo allows us to celebrate individual and class achievements, building a strong sense of community and pride.
